Membership in the College

A professional life deserves
a professional home.

Membership connects continuing education to community, standards, scholarship, service, and earned distinction.

A career is work. A profession is work joined to standards, learning, and community.

ACFP membership is for people who regard fitness as serious professional practice. It creates a continuing relationship with education, scholarship, ethical expectations, and peers who intend to improve the field rather than merely occupy it.

The College is being built deliberately. Founding members will enter before its customs are inherited, with an unusual opportunity to help establish the standards, programs, and traditions that later members will receive.

Belonging with substance.
